Swimming

Four days a week we go swimming this term. Under the sparkly water we swim like dolphins. We blink away the burn of our red eyes under the water . The clear water was sparkly like diamonds.Room 13 were floating like starfish trying to keep our legs up and our whole body floating

Marble Run

Marble run

On Friday room 13 made a Marble run. My team made a marble run too but it did not work the first time. Everyone gave up and only Iron finished it.

Straw Towers

straw bridge. Today room 13 made a straw bridge. Shanika, Flora and Chyna worked together to make a straw bridge. We did it as a team. We did not have any problems making the straw bridges, it was cool.

TORNADO in Auckland

Yesterday at 3.00 there was a tornado in Albany North shore. At the shopping centre a roof flew away because a tornado blew away.The tornado sounded like a tremendous roar and extraordinary devastation.

Straw Towers

Straw Towers In the morning today room 13 went to build a Straw Towers. Shanika,Wakatere, Flora,Eric and Frances we had to build a Straw Towers we had to make it out of Straw it was cool.Shanika,Wakatere,Flora,Eric and Frances we all helped and we said “Keep thinking” to our friends.

GIee

Glee

On Friday there was a performance called Glee they made up some dance moves and sang. It was fun and awesome to watch, my favourite parts were Lepa’s rap and the movie about GIee. I think they put a lot of effort in their performance. from Shanika

Meteor

The other night there was a meteor seen in the sky at 11pm. People in New Zealand saw a bright flashing light and heard a sonic boom.

The yu 5 and 6 are going to swimarama at swimarama i am going to the hydroslide I went on the hydroslide and it is cool on the hydroslide. All of the year 5, 6, 7, 8 had lunch. Then we all went to the pool.
